I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

More Theater Monday - Arias with Twist

We received complimentary tickets to Arias with a Twist for review purposes. All opinions expressed here are our own.

What: Arias with a Twist

Where: HERE Arts Center
              145 6th Ave.
              New York, NY

Who: Recommended for Ages 12 and Up. Some material may be inappropriate for young children.

When: Through December 20, 2026

Arias with a Twist is a theatrical whirlwind. It blends puppetry with cabaret-style singing. Avant-garde performance artist, drag star, and chanteuse Joey Arias is at its center. The show also features a gigantic pair of leg puppets, life-sized dancing girls, a marionette band, and more. The marionette band is a particular highlight. Don't try to find a through line for this show. Just go with the vibes.

And that's our view. For more about Arias with a Twist or to purchase tickets, visit here.org/shows/arias-with-a-twist-2026

Tune in tomorrow for Tips for Tuesday.
