I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Dear Jack, Dear Louise is a beautiful heartwarming tale of a couple who meet and fall in love through letters. Accordingly, the majority of the play is told through letters. However, unlike many similarly told stories, the story never gets boring but remains interesting and engaging throughout the show.

The action of the story takes place during World War II. Jack is a soldier and Louise is an aspiring actress. They are encouraged to write to each other.

The show stars Michael Liebhauser and Alexandra Fortin. Even though the pair doesn't really have much opportunity to interact directly, they share a nice chemistry. Liebhauser's Jack has an inner core of sweetness hidden inside his soldier's fortitude. Fortin's aspiring actress, Louise is a feisty go-getter with a big heart and plenty of spunk. They do a beautiful job of bringing this touching true story of playwright, Ken Ludwig's parents to life gloriously.
