I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Jordan Harrison's play, The Antiquities, imagines a world where the human race has been eradicated and resigned to the status of relics in a museum. The basic plot involves a trip through the museum passing through various points in human history ranging from the distant past to future times which have not happened yet. No real major historical events are covered, it is more of an arbitrary trip through history but in a way that traces the downfall of the human race as machines gradually take over. The show is fascinating and the cast does a good job sliding in and out of their various roles. However, this is not the show to see if the current state of the world already has you feeling bad.

And that's our view. For more about The Antiquities or to purchase tickets, go to www.playwrightshorizons.org/about/production-history/2020s/2425-season/the-antiquities-jordan-harrison
