I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Tips for Tuesday - Books: Stay Awake & Misc: Wild Republic's Aquatic Line

We may have been given complimentary copies and/or access for review purposes to any products, and/or visual or audio media mentioned below. Any and all opinions expressed here are our own.

Books: Stay Awake

Today we are talking about Stay Awake by Megan Goldin. After suffering a traumatic event, Liz can't remember the past two years. She wakes up in a taxi with a bloody knife in place of her phone and mysterious messages written all over her hands. She has to find out what is going on before its too late and before she falls asleep and forgets everything again.

This is an exciting fast-paced thriller. However, the conclusion of the story is kind of underwhelming. The killer could only be who it turns out to be, and the reason is immediately obvious. It is all too predictable so if you are looking for a surprising ending don't look for one here.

Misc: Wild Republic Aquatic Line

Today we are recommending Wild Republic's Aquatic Line. If you are sad to see the end of Shark Week, you'll love, this surprisingly cute collection of  stuffed sea creatures. In addition to the Great White Shark pictured above, there are also other sharks, turtles, sea otters, a walrus, a penguin, and many more. While some may be more adorable than others, depending on your point of view, they are all equally soft and cuddly.

For more information or to  order a stuffed sea creature or two of your own, visit shop.wildrepublic.com/collections/aquatic

And that's our view. Tune in tomorrow for Where-To-Go Wednesday.
