The 11th Annual Off-Broadway Alliance awards were handed out at Sardi's this past Tuesday, June 21, 2022, with actress and writer, Brenda  Brexton stepping in for the originally named host, actor, director, playwright, novelist, and drag icon Charles Busch. At the ceremony, awards and honors were received by the following:

Harmony - Best Musical

Sanctuary City - Best Play

Assassins - Best Revival 

Oratorio for Living Things - Best Unique Theatrical Experience

Little Girl Blue - Best Solo Performance 

Richard Nelson  and Albert Bergeret - Legend of Off Broadway Awards for extraordinary contributions to Off-Broadway over many years

Tom and Michael D'Angoura - Friend of Off Broadway Award for their heroic rescue of numerous Off-Broadway theatres and venues over the pandemic crisis of the last few years.

Ed Bullins, Arthur French, and Lisa Banes were posthumously inducted into the Off Broadway Hall of Fame.
