Perfect Life is a heartbreakingly sweet musical. As the musical opens, Arthur is recounting his story to a doctor in a mental health institution. It starts with Arthur and his beautiful young wife, Adele, who were allegedly in love and happy together until one day she up and left him. However, there is more to the story than Arthur is telling. Whatever it is not only kept Arthur from moving on with Mary Kay, the kind and caring young woman he met in his search for Adele but also put him in the mental institution in the first place. Although you may or may not be able to guess where this story is heading that doesn't make it any less poignant. The musical is filled with pretty songs and touching performances. It is also quick to watch at just about one hour and twenty minutes long.
