I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Me & Mom - Paris is often thought of as the center of fashion. The current exhibit at the Museum at FIT is  a reflection of that. The fashion on display covers a wide array of Paris Fashion history from the 16th Century through today. It includes ballgowns more simple basic dresses and even some men's clothing and more. The style ranges from plain uncomplicated designs to extremely ornate and over the top.  Some of our favorites include a pouffy red dress with a bow around the waist and a black jersey dress with a heart design made out of buttons. There are a lot  of beautiful clothes in the exhibit as well as many others that will make you scratch your head and wonder what they were thinking.  There is also a  companion book to the exhibit available that you can leaf through if you choose. All in all, if you love fashion and you want to experience a little bit of Paris fashion through the years, you will enjoy this exhibit.

And that's our view. For more about Paris Capital of Fashion or the Museum at FIT in general, visit www.fitnyc.edu/museum/exhibitions/paris-capital-fashion.php.

Tune in tomorrow for Theater Thursday.
