I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Where-To-Go Wednesday - Big Apple Circus 2019

We were given complimentary tickets to The Big Apple Circus for review purposes. Any and all opinions expressed here are our own.

What: The Big Apple Circus

Where: Damrosch Park
             Lincoln Center
             62nd Street
             New York, NY

Who: All ages

When: Through February 2, 2020

Me - The Big Apple Circus was exciting! The acts were really cool! My favorite act was a trained cats act. The cats were really talented and smart and cute. The were so much more talented than my own cats will ever be. I had never seen a trained cat before. It was amazing! There were horses too. They were really beautiful. They didn't really do anything though. A man did tricks while riding on their backs. There were a bunch other fascinating acts too. Although some circuses nowadays seem to exist only to sell things to people, the Big Apple Circus is always entertaining. It's one of the best circuses left and definitely worth a visit!

Mom - One of the great things about the Big Apple Circus is that every year it is always different. There may occassionally be an act or two that carries over from one year to the next or an act that is similar to an act from the previous year, however for the most part, every year there is a new slate of thrilling and exciting acts. This year's version of the show included a couple of animal acts as well as several high flying acts, a talented juggler and more. The Big Apple Circus is is also one of the most diverse circuses around with a black female ringmaster and even a a wheelchair bound performer. Even the animal acts are diverse with a trained cat act instead of the usual trained dog act. Anyone who thinks that it is impossible to train cats has never seen these  adorable talented feline performers. All in all, it is another impressive year for the Big Apple Circus and another great year for anyone who has the opportunity to see the show.
