I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Ten Great Things About New York City

We spent a lot of our summer in New York City. Accordingly, we put together this list of ten great things about New York City.

Me- Here are five great things about New York City:

1) New York has Broadway, enough said.

2) Even if you can't afford Broadway there is Off Broadway and Off Off Broadway. There is a show for just about every budget and interest.

3) There are lots of parks including Central Park one of the biggest and most famous  parks in the world.

4) There are lot museums of all types and there are a lot of zoos.

5) Any kind of food you crave, you can probably find it somewhere in New York City.

6) If you're into sports, there are lots of professional sports teams including two MLB teams, two NFL teams, two NHL teams and two NBA teams.

7) A  lot of things are close together so it's easy to get from place to place.

8) Even if things are not close to together there is a lot of public transportation so it still easy to get from place to place.

 9) You can literally have just about anything delivered.

10) There is always something to do, the city literally never sleeps.

And that's our view. What do you like about New York City (or about your city)?

Tune in tomorrow for Tips for Tuesday.
