I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

A couple of summer ago there was a show about animal trainer, Bill Berloni  and his family called From Wags to Riches. We couldn't have thought up a better show if we'd dreamed one up ourselves. We love Broadway, and we love animals. Of course, we were going to love a show that combines them.  The minute we heard the premise we knew we would love it, and we did. Below is more about From Wags to Riches.

Me - From Wags to Riches was a TV show about Bill Berloni who is an animal trainer. He trains animals for shows and movies and videos. It was four episode series over the course of a summer. I wish that it would back with new episodes. It was the best show ever! It had all these cute animals. It taught you about how they train animals for things. Like it taught you that they teach the animals that their stage name means come because they can't train them that it is their name because then they will get confused between that and their real name. Bill's wife, Dorothy and his daughter, Jenna also appeared in the series. Some of the animals appearing in the show were dogs,  Bowdie and Chico, Kevin, the bird plus many more. Most of the animals were dogs. However, aside from Kevin the bird, there were pigs, horses, a donkey, ducks. I would love to live with as many animals as the Berloni's have. I would love to be able to have a job like Bill Berloni's for a living. It was such a great show! I hope it comes back some day!

Mom- From Wags to Riches was an awesome show! It involved two of my favorite things: show business and animals. It was so much fun to hear about many of the animals that have appeared in different shows and movies including Chico, who appeared as Bruiser in the show Legally Blonde and Bowdie who appeared in the show Because of Winn Dixie. Because of Winn Dixie, which was actually produced by the Berloni's themselves, was actually the first show to star a dog. I wish I'd known about it when it was running because I definitely would have seen it. If it ever comes to Broadway or comes back anywhere in my vicinity, I would definitely go see it. Aside from the showbiz aspect of the show, it is was much fun to watch all the crazy antics of the many animals that reside in the Berloni household. I would love to be able to live on a farm like that and have that many animals. Even though at this point I am lucky enough to be doing something I really love in life, blogging, if I couldn't do that I would love to work in a job like Bill Berloni's and be around animals all the time.

Unfortunately, to date, there have been no further episodes of From Wags to Riches, but you can watch the original four episodes on Amazon.

And that's is our view. What is your favorite show or movie that has an animal in it?

Tune in tomorrow for Tips for Tuesday.

  1. I never saw this one but sounds good. I really don't watch many movies anymore, more sports than anything else. The kids watch the movies.
