I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Broadway Barks 2017

Broadway Barks founded by Bernadette Peters and Mary Tyler Moore is an annual event to help shelter pets find homes.

Me & Mom - We attended this year's Broadway Barks on Saturday July 8, 2017. It was fun. There were a lot of cute dogs. We would have loved to adopt one or two but unfortunately we could not. A lot of stars from Broadway shows were there. They introduced different pets that were available for adoption. Mostly, dogs  were available for adoption but also some cats. The event was dedicated to Mary Tyler Moore since it was the first Broadway Barks since Ms. Moore's death this past January. One of the dogs names was even changed to Tyler to honor Mary Tyler Moore. Also, at the beginning of the event Bernadette Peters and Michael Cerveris sang the theme from the Mary Tyler Moore show. Bill Berloni the famous animal trainer was there too. During the event, he actually auditioned a dog that is going to be the next dog to play Sandy in Annie. The dog's name is Addison. Over all, it was a really fun event and hopefully a lot of animals got adopted.

And that's our view. Tune in tomorrow for Tips for Tuesday.

  1. Wow what a great event. My problem would be is that I would want to adopt everything. I love animals and it would be hard to walk away empty handed.
