I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

e.tc. Children's Book Tour of Central Park and You're A Good Man Charlie Brown

We were given a free e.t.c. Custom Events tour of Central Park for review purposes. Any and all opinions expressed here are our own based on our experience.
Me - The Central Park Tour was so much fun. I liked that we went to a lot of statues we could climb on. Those were of of Alice in Wonderland, Hans Christian Anderson, and Balto. The Alice in Wonderland statue had a lot of characters from the book. Last year when we saw the New York Spring Spectacular at Radio City the statue of Alice in Wonderland was a character in the show. There were also a lot of exhibits and shows about Alice in Wonderland because it was the 125 anniversary of the book. The Hans Christian Anderson statue had a little duckling statue near it. Also, he ( Hans) was holding the book, The Ugly Duckling, and the statue had some of the words from The Ugly Duckling written on the book.  Seeing the Balto statue made me want to watch the movie Balto. They also had other statues that you couldn't climb on. I didn't like those as much. I liked that we talked a lot about books because I love reading. We learned about how you can rent a toy boat to put in the water. You can also bring your own toy boat and get them to store it there for you. There is a nice carousel but me and my sister are too old for one. The tour was so much fun. I would like to go on another tour of Central Park because it so big, and there is so much more to see.

We were given free tickets to You're A Good Man Charlie Brown for review purposes. Any and all opinions expressed here are our own based on our experience.

Me- You're A Good Man Charlie Brown was a great show. I liked that it was performed by all kids. That was real cool! The acting was really good. The singing was good too. I like a lot of the songs. Some of my favorites are Happiness and Little Known Facts. Little Known Facts is funny. Lucy is teaching Linus all these facts that aren't true. I can't wait to get the CD and listen to the songs again.  The boy who played Linus is a really good dancer. He danced to the song My Blanket and Me. I liked the story of the show. It was just all these different scenes put together. The show had a lot of funny parts. It reminded me of the comic strip especially when Snoopy was on his doghouse fighting with the Red Baron. The show made me want to read Peanuts comic strips. They had some Peanuts comic strips on the wall outside the theater. We (my Mom and I ) had fun reading them before the show. It was was an amazingly good fun show.

And that's Aurella's view. Tune in tomorrow for Funtivity Friday.
