I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Where-To-Go Wednesday - Rebounderz

We were not financially compensated for the following post. We did receive complimentary admission to Rebounderz Edison for review purposes. All opinions expressed here are our own based on our experience.
 What: Rebounderz

Where: 76 Carter Drive
            Edison, NJ
Other  locations in Texas, Florida and Virgina
More locations opening soon in Pennsylvania, New York,  Louisiana, and California
as well as additional locations in New Jersey and Florida

Who: All ages but especially ages 5 and up
Our view: If your children seem to have boundless energy like my younger daughter, Rebounderz is a great place for them to expend some of that energy. Rebounderz is an indoor trampoline arena. It is very safe. All jumpers are required to wear helmets and special skid free socks at all times. It is very well monitored. All jumping areas are under constant supervision. As an additional safety precaution during the busy Thursday - Sunday open jumping hours only children 42" and above are permitted to jump in the main jumping areas. However, children smaller than that may still use the foam pit and the basketball slam at a reduced rate during that time period.  We were impressed with how well everything is run and how every little detail is kept track of right down to the amount of jumpers on the floor at any one time. When you pay your admission, you pay for a certain amount of jumping time. Then, you are required to buy a pair of socks. The socks are only $3.00 a pair, and if you have a pair from a previous visit you are allowed to use the pair you already own. Next, you turn in your shoes and get a helmet. Each helmet has a number on the back. When your jumping time is over, the DJ calls out your helmet number and you are required to get off the jumping floor and turn in your helmet. You don't get your shoes back until you turn in your helmet.  In addition to the main jumping areas, the foam pit, and the basketball slam, there is also a video game area and a cafe. There also plenty of areas to sit down and rest when you need to including some massage chairs. It does, however, cost money to use the massage chairs for an actual massage. Just be advised that the noise level in Rebounderz is quite high not because of the jumping but because there is a DJ, as we previously mentioned, and  music is played constantly throughout the day. Over all though, Rebounderz is a great place for kids and adults alike to get some exercise while having a good time.
