I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

             New York, NY

El Otro  Oz is a modern updated bilingual version of the Wizard of Oz.  Although, of course, this version is not exactly the same as the previous version, it does bear recognizable similarities to the previous version. The most important of these is that the gist of the story involves a young girl who learns to appreciate what she has.

The story is full of colorful characters. The songs are lively and exuberant. Nya  Noemi does a great job in the role of  Dora (the Dorothy character), She has quite a lovely voice too.

Both the songs and dialogue are a mix of English and Spanish. However, it is easy to understand what is going on no matter which language you speak. All in all, it's a fun show for the whole family.

And that's our view. Tune in Saturday for Still More Theater Saturday.
