I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

David Copperfield is a fabulous whirlwind of a show. It takes a roughly 700-page novel and condenses it into an approximately 2-hour 15-minute live presentation (including one intermission).

Three actors delightfully take on all the novel's numerous characters, rendering the proceedings a joyfully amusing delight. The trio floats in and out of various characters with only slight changes of costume. There is even some puppetry, as empty clothes or wooden figures sometimes stand in for certain characters.

The show may be a bit confusing at times if you haven't read the book, although you don't have to have read the entire book to enjoy the show. You may want to at least familiarize yourself with the story before you go, however. Even if you have read the book and didn't like it, you can still appreciate this highly entertaining take on it.

And that's our view. For more about David Copperfield or to purchase tickets, visit www.59e59.org/shows/show-detail/david-copperfield.
