I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Me & Mom - The Sabbath Girl is a cute show. It is about a Jewish man and Gentile woman. She moves into his building and becomes his Sabbath goy, which is a non Jewish person who does things for an Orthodox Jew that he or she is not allowed to do on the Sabbath. The acting was mostly good. The story was entertaining. However, the lead actors did not have a lot of chemistry. Also, the ending was predictable and a little bit too neatly wrapped up to be completely believable. It seems like the playwright would like things to be so simple, and it would be nice if they were, but we are not sure they always are. We would have liked to know more about what happened to the characters after the story ended. The show is still mostly enjoyable though.
