Books: Paranoid
Mom - Today I am recommending Paranoid by Lisa Jackson. Twenty years ago, Rachel accidentally killed her half brother but due to conflicting witness testimony she was not convicted of the crime, Now she is getting mysterious messages, and she feels like someone is following her. Then, former classmates of Rachel who were witnesses to the alleged crime start dying, and Rachel is sure it has something to do with what happened. This book is a fascinating thriller. It is fast paced and exciting to read. The character of Rachel is a very likable heroine, and if you are a big fan of romance, you will be rooting for her to get back together with her ex husband, Cade. They are a very sweet couple. However, the events that actually set the story in motion are a little unclear like why exactly Rachel and her stepbrother and others were where they were and what they were doing. Also, the end implies that there is more to the story that will happen later. Whether the author chose to leave the story open ended or she is planning to write a sequel either way I don't like it, and if you prefer stories that are neatly wrapped up at the end, you will be a little disappointed too. Over all though, it is an intriguing story and worth reading.
Misc: PBS Retro VR Headset
Me - Today I am recommending PBS Retro VR Headset. It is a virtual reality headset where you can learn about different things related to space. You have to get an app on your phone for it to work. It's pretty easy to use, but you have to be careful because sometimes one of the headset straps falls off. You can watch different videos, and there are also different virtual reality clips. You can look around while they telll you what's happening in the pictures. It is really interesting. Even if you don't like science, it's still fun to use, and if you do like science you'll really love it.
And that's our view. Tune in tomorrow for Where-To-Go Wednesday.
