I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

The lastest installment of the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them saga is about to open in movie theaters any day now, there is a new Harry Potter exhibit at the New York Historical Society (more on that in a future post), and there is even a Harry Potter show on Broadway (forgetting for a moment that many people don't consider that real Harry Potter since it was written by a different author, and that is only the least of their gripes about the show). Harry Potter is truly everywhere, but that's okay because everyone loves Harry Potter. Well that may not be exacty true, but what is true is that a large number of people definitely do love Harry Potter.     My favorite thing about Harry Potter is its timelessness. As far as characters, I love Tonks because she's unapologetically herself.

    My favorite character is Professor Snape because he is a little sarcastic and mean but also one of the good guys, he just doesn't show it like the others. I love that my family and I can escape reality for a couple of hours and live in a very magical world while watching the movies!
