I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Tips for Tuesday - Books: Mary Had a Little Lamp and Quintessential Style Cultivate and Communicate Your Signature Style

We may have been given one or more of the below books for free for review purposes. Any and all opinions expressed here are our own. This post may contain affiliate links. If you click on a link and make a purchase we may be compensated.
Me- Today I am recommending Mary Had a Little Lamp by Jack Lechner. This is a great book for little kids. It is about a girl named Mary who has a lamp that she takes everywhere and does everything with until the end when she gets too big for it. There is more to it than that, but I wouldn't want to spoil the surprise ending. It is really funny. Little kids would love this book, but older kids and adults would enjoy it too because it is really funny. It is a book you can read over and over again without getting sick of.
Mom - Today I am recommending Quintessential Style Cultivate and Communicate Your Signature Look by Janna Beatty and Sharon White. If you are looking for help finding the look that is best for you, this book is a great choice. This books covers everything including how to determine your personal style, how to choose clothes and make-up that are right for you, how to build a wardrobe, how to shop, and more. It also tells you ways to achieve the look you want by teaching you such things as ways to emphasize certain body parts or areas or ways to de-emphasize certain body parts through the use of make-up and clothes and the proper way to wear make-up for the look you want. This book makes it seem so easy for every woman to be her best self and truly present the image that she wants to the world.

And that's our view. Tune in tomorrow for Where-To-Go Wednesday.
