Joan Marcus and Carol Rosegg are two of the most prolific theatrical photographers. Joan has covered shows like Wicked, Rent, M. Butterfly, and A Few Good Men as well as such institutions as the Roundabout, MCC, and the Public. Carol is know for such shows as Billy Elliot, Finding Neverland, A Bengal Tigers at the Baghdad Zoo, and Driving Miss Daisy and has also covered the York Theater, Irish Repertory, Vineyard Theatre, and more. The New York Library of the Performing Arts acquired their photographs in 2018 and is currently hosting a retrospective of their work. The exhibit includes numerous photographs accompanied by commentary from the photographers and video of them discussing their work. It is a fascinating look at 40 years of theater history as seen through photographers' eyes
