Mom - Not That Jewish is a one woman show starring Monica Piper, Emmy Award winning writer and comedian. However, the show is much more than just a stand-up comedy act. This is a show with story and a clear beginning, middle and end. It is the story of Miss Piper's life from her childhood with her parents through her adulthood with her own child. The show is definitely funny, but it is much more than that. It is happy. It is sad. It is heartwarming. It will make you feel a whole mix of emotions. The show is so relatable that just about anyone can find one or more things to relate to about the show. If you've ever had parents, you can relate to it. If you've ever had a child you can relate to it. If you've adopted a child you can relate to it. If you have given up a child for adoption, you can relate to it. If you have struggled to balance your career and your family life you can relate to it. Miss Piper has gone through so many of the things that so many of the rest of us have and she shares them with us in an entertaining and funny but also heartwarming manner. This is not a show for young children who would be bored but for the rest of us, it is definitely a show worth seeing.
