I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Tips for Tuesday - Misc.: Spontuneous

We were given Spontuneous for free for review purposes. Any and all opinions expressed here are our own.

Me - Today I am recommending Spontuneous. Spontuneous is a really board game about songs, You have to have to know the words to songs and be quick to play this game. However, you don't have to know all the words to a song. You also don't have to be a good singer. This game is a lot of fun especially if  you like singing and songs.

Mom - Today I am also recommending Spontuneous. Spontuneous is a super fun board game for people like us who love to sing and listen to music. You don't have to be a good singer. You do have to know the words to songs although not all of the words. You take turns picking a trigger word and everyone else has to compete to see who can come up with a song that contains that trigger word first. It does not matter if it is the same song that the person who came up with that trigger word was thinking of as long as it is a song that uses that word. Whoever comes up with a song and sings six words of it first, gets to roll the dice and move that many spaces on the board. Whoever reaches the end of the board first wins. The game involves more than just racing to think of and sing a qualifying song first. It also involves strategy. The strategy is to try to think of a trigger word that no one else will be able to think of a song for but you. If nobody can think of a song that contains the trigger word and the person who chose that trigger word can prove there really is a song that uses that word by singing six words of the song his or herself, he or she can roll and move ahead. There is a little more to it than that, but that is the gist of it. If you love music and you know at least six words to a lot of songs, you will love this game.

And that's our view. Tune in tomorrow for Where-To-Go Wednesday.
