I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Where-To-Go Wednesday - The Liberty Bell

What: The Liberty Bell

Where: 525 Market Street
            Philadelphia, PA

Who: All ages
Our view: The Liberty Bell is currently located in what is known as Liberty Bell Center. There is also a video presentation and exhibits related to the Liberty Bell located in the same building. However, you can easily bypass the exhibits and go right to the bell if you prefer. We would definitely recommend doing that if you are traveling with young children or people who get bored easily. Otherwise, the exhibits are interesting. The Liberty Bell is open year round from 9:00 to 5:00, and you will have to go through security to get in the building. You can actually see the Liberty Bell even if you are not actually inside the building. However, it is our opinion that is not the same as being able to go right up to it or at least as close as you can get to it. You cannot go right up to it or touch it as it is roped off. Tickets are not required for entrance to Liberty Bell Center. However, you may have to wait outside in a long line so we would recommend going as early in the day as possible since the later it gets in the day the longer the line gets. For more information about the Liberty Bell and Liberty Bell Center go to http://www.nps.gov/inde/liberty-bell-center.htm.

And that's our view. Tune in to tomorrow's Talking Topics post for more about the Liberty Bell.
