I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Funny Friday - I'll Call You What I Want

Me -

When I was young, I couldn't say Grandma so I called her by her first name, Ann (although I pronounced it like On)

Mom  -

When Melia was little she called her brother Dada. We couldn't figure out why she was saying everybody's name but his until we realized she was calling  her Dad "Daddy" and her  brother
"Dada.

When Aurella was little, she called her brother "That" and later she started calling him "Tush"
We have no idea why she called him THAT, but it was Melia who got her calling him tush. I am not sure why.
