I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Is another production of Pride and Prejudice really necessary? Surely, this literary classic has been done to death both in film and onstage. If this is your attitude and you close your mind to the current production now playing at 59E59 Theaters in New York City, you are missing out on a true treat.

This production is an absolute joy. All of the characters are played by the brilliant trio of April Hughes, Luke Barton, and Sarah Gobran. Gobran actually assisted in adapting the show and is a producer. The three bounce in and out of various roles at a moment's notice to hilarious effect through the use of minimal costume changes.  Bows are added to hair or removed, hats and more are put on or taken off. Sometimes the change is even as subtle as the slipping of a jacket off the shoulders. The show is ingeniously staged. It's extremely fast-paced and completely delightful. You won't want to miss it!

And that's our view. For more about Pride and Prejudice or to purchase tickets, visit www.59e59.org/shows/show-detail/pride-prejudice.
