I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Throughout history, there have always been men who wanted to hold women back, this is not a new phenomenon. However, what may be surprising to some is that there have always been fierce women who surpassed what was expected of them or even allowed of them even as far back as ancient times. Shady Ladies Courageous Women of History Tour explores some of these pioneering women throughout history by examining works of art created by them or about them. There is Hatshupset, who was not a queen but a female king of Egypt. There is Marie-Anne Paulze Lavoisier, a chemist in her own right she was crucial to her husband, Antoine Lavoisier in his work. These are only a couple of the fascinating and formidable women you'll learn about on this inspiring tour.

And that's our view. For more about Shady Lady Tours and/or to sign up for an upcoming virtual or in-person tour, visit shadyladiestours.com
