I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Me - Broadway Playhouse: Andrew Lloyd Webber was my favorite of the Broadway Playhouses I have seen. I liked that it was funny. They all wanted to perform different shows for the musical that they do at they end. They all had different costumes for the shows that they wanted to perform, and they all sangs songs from the shows they wanted to perform. They were arguing about what show to perform, but not in an angry way more in a funny way. They did songs from Phantom of the Opera, Cats, School of Rock, Jesus Christ Superstar, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat. I especially like the songs from School of Rock because that is one of my favorite shows. They even did a song from School of Rock as a sing-along. They played a game where they brought kids up from the audience to be in the band. Two kids were the drummers. The other two were the guitars. They didn't have really guitars though, but they did have really drums. The drums were small and you could hold them in your hand.  All in all, it was a fun show, and I would really recommend going to Playhouse Broadway's shows next season.
Mom - Broadway Playhouse recently concluded their three show season with a show about composer Andrew Lloyd Webber.  Although Broadway Playhouse shows are always fun, this was the most fun of the ones we have seen. The selection of music which included the songs Rum Tum Tugger from Cats, Buenos Aires from Evita, and several songs from Jesus Christ Superstar and more was great. The songs chosen were fun upbeat songs that kids could relate to and not necessarily the most well know songs from these productions. It was also great that the musical selections chosen included several songs from School of Rock since the musical is kid friendly and currently running. A lot of the kids in the audience seemed familiar with show and especially enjoyed these songs. Some kids even got to come on stage and dance along to Stick It to The Man.  The storyline running through this incarnation of Broadway Playhouse was hugely entertaining as well. While information about famous composers is presented in an engaging way in all Broadway Playhouse shows, in this show, it was presented in a particularly amusing fashion by having each of the four characters in the show try to out diva each other and have their choice of  an Andrew Lloyd Webber show chosen for the mini musical that concludes all Broadway Playhouse shows. All in all, it was just a really fun show. We look forward to Broadway Playhouse's next season.
And that's our view. Tune in tomorrow for Funtivity Friday..
