The following drives will be held as part of this event:

1) Blood drive to benefit the Community Blood Council
2) School supplies drive to support the Learning Center at East Trenton chapter of Habitat for Humanity
3) Non-perishable food drive to support Mercer Street Friends Food Bank
4) Tolietries Drive to support HomeFront
5) Pet supplies drive to support The Shelter Animal Project
6) Clothing Drive to support Rescue Mission of Trenton

1) Donate to 1 of the above receive ticket to August 31 Thunder game with post game fireworks

2) Donate to 2 of the above receive ticket to August 31 game and throw out a first pitch before the game

3) Donate to 3 of the above receive 1 and 2 above and the opportunity to watch fireworks from the field

4) Donate to 4 of the above and receive 1-3 above and free parking on August 31

5) Donate to 5 of the above and receive 1-4 above and Thunder pint glass

6) Donate to all of above and receive all of above and voucher for free hotdog, popcorn and soda

Anyone who donates blood will receive a  free all-you-can eat wrist band for the August 9 game. The wrist band will entitle wearer to all-you-can-eat  hotdogs, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, nacho combo, popcorn and 20 oz soda at August 9 game. Ticket to game is not included, however and you must purchase a ticket to the game to make use of the voucher.

Funny Friday - Oh Yeah!

Me-

One day my Dad put bread in the toaster and was wondering why it was taking so long to pop, and then he remembered that he forgot to plug the toaster in.

Mom -

My daughters and I went to the mall and parked the car. We went to Sears, got in the elevator, and pushed the button for the second floor. The elevator door closed. We waited. Nothing happened. We pushed the button for the second floor again. We waited nothing happened. We pushed the button again and waited. Still nothing happened. Finally, we remembered we'd parked on the second floor level of the parking lot so we were already on the second floor.
