Part music performance, part comedy duel, all play, Grey Arias dismantles easy binaries and invites audiences to live in the uncomfortable in-between. Through virtuosic musical numbers and disarming humor, Truscott and Le Gateau Chocolat upend allyship, cultural interpretation, race, power, and performance itself, all the while wondering: How does one walk the fine line that delineates marginalized perspectives? In this case — in heels.

10) Otto & Astrid: The Stages Tour
Rooted in quantum physics, STATES: OBSERVATION examines the idea that reality is probabilistic & undefined until observed. The act of observing a particle’s position, or state, changes the particle IT-Self, altering IT’s momentum & creating uncertainty.
The trilogy contemplates the uncertain fluidity & trajectory of the Self through the fragmentation of identity & memory drawing from personal & collective queer narratives & symbolism as related but not limited to aloneism, outsiderism, compartmentalization, survivalism, and chameleonism, evoking a multiplicity of I-positions, or states: with dancer observing IT-Self like an audience member in 3rd person, as both subject & object; as a particle, the smallest fundamental state in the humyn body, which pops in & out of existence.
A key concept is MA, the Japanese aesthetic of negative space, representing the voids between identity states. MA serves as a bridge in between past & future fragments of the Self, aligning with Zen Buddhist notions of emptiness—not as absence, but as a field of infinite possibility. When the dancer appears to do nothing, IT holds transitional space for IT-Self in between one I-position and the arrival of the next, observing the gap between the conscious & unconscious Self, being led into the next positional state or memory.
I am not a Some Thing because of experience observed. I am because I am IT.
The essence of the 3 works, Origin, Mutation, & Entropy at Absolute Zero, have been sought in the spaces between ideas rather than seeking form through fixed trialed choreography, manifesting IT-Self with improvisation guided by research, narratives, and somatics. They were originally danced guided by vector analyzed site specific staged positions between 2023 and 2025 in NYC Queer Butoh Festival with Vangeline Theatre, Excavate: An NYC Butoh new works in progress festival curated by Scoop, Amsterdam Butoh Festival, & Performatica in Venice, Italy, simultaneous to the 2024 Biennale curated by Hector Canonge. November 2024 a documentary short of Entropy at Absolute Zero by International Butoh Videographer Shimmyo Shuta, was screened at Mana Contemporary hosted by the Jonas Mekas Archives curated by Chihiro Ito. The performance piece was additionally screened at the International Behavioral Art Festival, in Dehradun, India, May 2025.

13) Stewart Huff's Is Anything Okay?
“Radical liberal” comic Stewart Huff is back with Is Anything OK? The liberal viewpoint means his shows “don’t go well” in his home state of Kentucky, but they go down as a treat at Fringe. This laugh-heavy outing from Huff is less concerned with politics and more with people — namely, how stupid we are. We make stuff up, which is fine and artistic, he opines. But then we start to believe it, which is where things go wrong. He tackles religion as theater as he spins yarns about the eccentric characters he has met on his travels.

14) Tempest Tossed
TEMPEST TOSSED is a chamber adaptation of Shakespeare’s The Tempest, where the play's action is beautifully focused with original music by music director Flavio Gaete, as well as a magical Butoh-inspired movement led by Yoshiko Usemi. The performance creates an immersive island, where Caliban’s mother, the powerful witch Sycorax, finally has a voice, offering a fresh perspective on this story of justice, restoration, freedom, and forgiveness.

15) Trash
Tim and Jake are Deaf roommates sharing an apartment in the city—but not much else. They’re polar opposites, each with very different views on what it means to be Deaf in a hearing world. When it comes to taking out the trash, they spiral into a comic and insightful examination of their personal garbage and their perceptions of each other’s lives.
Performed almost exclusively in ASL (American Sign Language), Trash employs surprising theatrical devices that allow all audiences to understand the play (and each other) in profoundly new ways.

Following two intertwining love stories — that of young dreamers Orpheus and Eurydice, and that of King Hades and his wife Persephone — Hadestown invites audiences on a hell-raising journey to the underworld and back. Mitchell’s beguiling melodies and Chavkin’s poetic imagination pit industry against nature, doubt against faith, and fear against love. Performed by a vibrant ensemble of actors, dancers, and singers, Hadestown delivers a deeply resonant and defiantly hopeful theatrical experience.

Fordham Road’s vibrant business corridor, home to largest concentration of sneaker stores according to recent study, embraces the ‘sole’ of the neighborhood on IHOP’s National Pancake Day with announcement of details for upcoming sneaker design contest
Mini sneaker shaped pancakes available for one day only, exclusively at Fordham Plaza location
The Fordham Road Business Improvement District (BID), which represents the more than 300 small businesses along one of the city’s busiest shopping corridors that’s also attracting new restaurants, is partnering with the recently opened IHOP at Fordham Plaza, to celebrate the eatery’s National Pancake Day.
To pay homage to a corridor famous for shoppers running to their last-minute secret sneaker drop, IHOP will celebrate Bronx-style, adding sneaker-shaped pancakes to the menu on Tuesday, March 3. The chain’s beloved free offer for its signature buttermilk short stack will also be available.
The BID will also share official details on its upcoming partnership with Bronx Fashion Week, a contest that will allow the public the opportunity to design a sneaker that will be unveiled during the week later this year, and included in a public neighborhood art installation.
The Fordham Road BID recently completed a Commercial District Needs Assessment (CDNA), which found that approximately 1 in 4 stores along Fordham Road sell sneakers, the highest per capita of sneaker stores anywhere in the world.
The Fordham Road BID, through Chairman David Rose, is providing free parking for guests on a first come, first serve basis.

38) The Royal Ballet Brings Acclaimed Production
of Romeo and Juliet to U.S. Theatres
March 8 and 9 from Fathom Entertainment
Shakespeare’s great love story is brilliantly retold through this modern ballet classic, celebrating its 60th anniversary this season. The fervent longing of the star-crossed lovers is perfectly captured in this celebrated production. The flourishing of young love is just as present in Romeo and Juliet's meeting on the balcony as in their final moments when they desperately cling to life in the tomb.
Prokofiev’s evocative music sets the scene for stolen romantic moments and deadly feuds and sweeps the ballet towards its inevitable and tragic conclusion. Perhaps most recognizable is the “Dance of the Knights,” the music that accompanies the Capulets as they enter the ball in which the two lovers first meet.
