Me - My Real Mother was an extremely good show. It is about a girl who was adopted and her adoptive mother and birth mother become friends. This was a very heartwarming show. It made me want to cry in a good way. Ever moment was really touching. The music was really good too. It really fit the mood of the show. I don't remember any of the particular songs, but I would like to listen to them again. I could really relate to the characters, they were really believable. Everyone should see this show, if they ever have the opportunity. It was definitely my favorite of this year's New York Musical Festival shows that I saw.
Mom - My Real Mother is a truly stirring musical . It is the story of three woman and the open adoption that binds them. Alex is the adoptee, Sara is her birth mother, and Alaina is her adoptive mother. The relationship that develops between the two mothers over the course of the show is incredibly moving. It is a model for the way relationships between people can be but rarely are. There are so many moments in this musical that will make you want to cry. Every song in the show is beautiful and meaningful as well and will touch your heart. It is just an incredibly wonderful show that will stay with you long after you've seen it.
And that's our view. Tune in tomorrow for Tips for Tuesday.
