When I was 1, I saw our cat, Gigi sitting on my Mom's lap. I pointed to my own lap because I wanted Gigi to sit on my lap.
Mom-
When my niece was little, she got a rocking chair with her name on it. We were all at my mother's house and she was sitting in her rocking chair. Her mother was sitting on the floor next to her. At the time, she adored my stepson, Jack and she wanted him to sit next to her too. "You sit on Mommy's lap, Jack." she told him.
