I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Tips for Tuesday - Books: The Eight Year Lie & Misc: Lotus Trolley

We may have been given complimentary copies for review purposes of any books and/or other products mentioned below.  Any and all opinions expressed here are our own.

Books: The Eight Year Lie

Today we are talking about The Eight Year Lie by J.M. Hewitt.  Jessica is rich, confident, and carefree, Louise aspires to be like her so she keeps information away from Jessica that would cause Jessica to leave her. That one act of betrayal sets Jessica's life on a downward spiral that pushes Jessica to the brink. While Louise's life only seems to be getting better and more like the life Jessica used to have. Louise is not the only one keeping secrets, however. While the story is intriguing and unpredictable.  There aren't really any characters to root for in this story. They are all selfish and act only in their own best interest. Also, the end is less than satisfying. Overall, the book was somewhat disappointing.

Today we are recommending Lotus Trolley bags. These reusable bags attach to your grocery cart and make it possible to sort your groceries while you're shopping. They are strong and durable and come with a lifetime guarantee. They are even machine washable. For more information or to find out where to get a set of Lotus Trolley bags of your own go to https://lotus-sustainables.com.

And that's our view. Tune in tomorrow for Where-To-Go Wednesday.
