Ten Great Educational Children's Shows

Me - Here are five educational shows for kids:

1) Sesame Street - It's been teaching kids their numbers and letters for over 50 years.

2) Clifford - This show doesn't teach school types lessons but it does teach important lessons about friendship and fairness and stuff.

3) Barney -This show teaches similar lessons to those taught by Clifford and lets kids use their imaginations.

4) Word Girl - This is a  really good show for teaching vocabulary

5) Superwhy - This is a good show for teaching spelling.

5) Sid the Science Kid - This is a good show for teaching kids science.

6) Team Umizoomi - This show teaches kids math,

7 ) Where in the World is Carmen San Diego? - This show teaches kids geography.

8) The Electric Company - This is a great show for teaching kids to read. The original is better than the remake.

9) Reading Rainbow - Any show that encourages children to read like this one is a good show.

10) The Magic School Bus - This show teaches kids all different things.

While some of these shows are no longer on television, they may be available on DVD.
