I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

            New York, NY

Who: All ages

When: Through August 2, 2018

Me - Golly Gee Whiz is  a good show. The basis for the show is familiar but entertaining. It is a show about these kids who want to put on a show in a barn. The cast is full of talented kids who can act, sing, and dance. The songs are engaging. The story is fun.  Although I generally have enjoyed all of the shows I've seen at TADA! Youth Theater, this show is one of my favorites.

Mom -  Golly Gee Whiz is another winner for the talented troop of youngesters at TADA! Youth Theater. The show is a sweet nostalgic piece reminiscent of those old Judy Garland and Mikey Rooney let's put on a show in a barn musicals. Kids will love the amusing story and lively songs. Adults will enjoy the show too especially if they love a good old fashioned musical, and they don't mind a little bit of corniness. This show is just pure fun for everyone.

Me - Good Morning New York is a show about people who work for a news show. There are a bunch of characters in the show. They all have their good points, but they all have their annoying traits too. That makes them more like real people, but they also kind of get on my nerves. There was so much going on in the show that sometimes it was hard to keep track of it all. There was one part of the show where they made it look like they were riding on the Staten Island Ferry. That was really cool! That was my favorite part of the show. That was during one of the songs. I don't really remember any of the other songs. I don't really watch morning news shows, maybe I would have enjoyed the show better if I did.

Mom - Good Morning New York is a new musical about the inner workings of an early morning news show. The show is very dramatic but there are some funny moments especially those which involve the scene stealing interns played by Lexi Rosenblum and John Vogel. The characters are interesting but I would have liked to know more about them. All in all, the show is pleasant but not entirely satisfying.
