Rent was a musical that changed Broadway. Anthony Rapp was a part of Rent from  as far back as its early workshop days. He not only played the role of Mark in the original Off Broadway production and its later transfer to Broadway, he also subsequently played the role on the National Tour and in the West End. Just as his career was taking off, his mother began battling with cancer. Without You: a memoir of love, loss and the musical RENT is his memoir about this time.
