Books: Ewe Do Ewe and Only in New York Volume 3

Today we are recommending Ewe Do Ewe. This book is a mix of quotes to live by and cute pictures of happy thriving sheep taken by Bridget Curtin, a Philadelphia photographer. Ms. Curtin hopes to encourage people to support animal sanctuaries through her work.   The sheep in this particular book all live at the Woodstock Farm Sanctuary. You can find out more about that particular sanctuary in the back of the book. In any case, whether you need a little inspiration or just like looking at cute animal pictures, you will enjoy this book.

Today we are recommending Only in New York Volume 3: 38 More True Big Apple Stories Spanning 55 Years and Five Boroughs by M.G. Crisci. This is another book of funny but true stories about life in New York City. This volume could almost be subtitled A New Yorker Abroad as so many of the stories take place in foreign countries. That doesn't make them any less amusing, however. This volume includes stories about how not to take care of your lawn, how not to do business in Australia,  how a couple of teenage boys manage to trick their parents into allowing them to have a massive party, and more. If you are looking for a light fun read and a good laugh or two, this book is a good choice.

If you are interested in finding out about the previous book in this trilogy see our past post Tips for Tuesday - Books: Only in New York, Volume 2: 37 More True Big Apple Stories Spanning 55 Years and Five Borough

And that's our view. Tune in tomorrow for Where-To-Go Wednesday.
