Me - The Hello Girl was a really good show. It was about the girls who were telephone operators in World War I. I liked the music. It was really nice. The people in the show also played the music. I have seen quite a few shows like that now including two out of three of my favorite shows. I generally like  shows like that. Cast members are usually especially talented to be able to play an instrument and act in the same show. The acting, singing, and music in this show were all very good. The story was interesting. I learned a lot from the show. Not only did I not know anything about the Hello Girls before I didn't even know anything about World War I. This show was different than any other show I have seen before not only because of when it took place but because of the way it was staged. The stage had different levels. It was fascinating the way they did that, and it worked well for the small theater where the show was presented. Even though I generally don't like entertainment that has to do with war, I really enjoyed this show, and other people who feel the same way probably would too.

Mom - The Hello Girls is a very interesting and enlightening musical. It shines a lot on a group of historical women that most people know little or nothing about - the  American women who were telephone operators in France during World War I. Their story is very fascinating and charmingly told through song and dance. The cast members, all of whom act, sing, dance and play instruments in the show, are all very talented and the songs are beautiful and fun. This is not to say that every moment in the show is joyful and happy because, after all, this is a show dealing with a war. However, it is not a heavy drama either so even if you do not usually like shows that deal with related subject matter that does not necessarily mean you won't enjoy this show. It is very different than most shows that deal with similiar subject matter and for the most part does not real dwell on the darker aspect although there are some moments in the show that do. For the most part the story is very uplifting and inspiring. It is a good show for girls to see to show them that even back than women could make a difference. In fact, it is a good show for anyone to see so they can learn the story of  these brave women who deserve to be remembered and recognized for their achievements.
