Funtivity Friday - Art Projects - Apple Pictures

A fun thing to do in the fall is go apple picking. Here are two different ways to make apple pictures.


For an Apple Orchard Picture

What You Will Need

white paper
green paper
green, brown, and red markers
glue
green glitter

What to Do

1 ) Color along the bottom of the white paper with green marker.

2) Glue over the green marker.

3) Sprinkle green glitter over the glue.

4) Brush off the excess glitter.

5) Draw tree trunks with brown marker.

6) Cut out green circles for tops of trees.

7) Glue tops of trees to tree trunks.

8) Draw apples in tree and on ground with red marker.



For an Apple on the Ground Picture















What You Need

White paper
Green paper
Red paper
Green glitter
Red glitter
Brown crayon
Green crayon

What You To Do

1) Cut a thick strip of green paper.

2) Cut strips into the green paper but don't cut the strips completely off  so it makes a fringe.

3) Glue the green paper to the bottom of the white paper.

4) Put glue on the green strip at the bottom of the paper.

5) Sprinkle green glitter on the glue.

6) Brush off the excess glitter.

7) Cut out an apple shape from the red paper.

8) Glue the apple shape to the white paper above the green.

9) Put glue over the red paper.

10) Sprinkle red glitter on the glue.

11) Brush off the excess glitter.

12) Draw a stem with the brown crayon.

13) Draw a leaf with the green crayon.

  1. I would think drawing an apple would be really hard. I know that drawing any sort of ovoid shape was very difficult when I was young!
