When the image of a baby Jesus appears on a Babybel Cheese wheel, suddenly religious symbols start appearing all over town, alleged miracles starts happening, and strangers start flocking to Del's hometown of Clemency, Texas. She may be the only one who doesn't believe that the miracles are real. However, she has good reason to be skeptical because if there really is a God why would God have let her little sister, Claire die and let her family fall apart.  For our view of this book go to Tips for Tuesday - Books: Cheesus Was Here. 7. There was a train wreck about 10 years ago, which was major, and they had to dig up a large portion of the town to get the hazardous chemicals out of the ground. It was really something seeing the huge holes all around while they repaired everything.

  11. The craziest thing that happened in our town that I know of, was there was a boy about 7 that fell into the water behind the stores. My cousin just so happened to be there (he was about 20). He jumped into the water which ran under the street and all the stores on main St. We were all worried thinking they would both have died, but they came out an the other side, my cousin had the little boy in his arms.
