Where-To-Go Wednesday - Urban Adventure Quest: New York Midtown

We were given a free Urban Adventure Quest for review purposes. Any and all opinions expressed here are our own based on our experience.
What: Urban Adventure Quest: New York Midtown

Where: Starts at Times Square

Who: Tweens and Up

Mom's view: An Urban Adventure Quest is a fun way to get exercise and explore and learn about a City. We previously participated in and reviewed an Urban Adventure Quest in New York's Central Park for more about that go to Where-To-Go Wednesday: Urban Adventure Quest and Urban Adventure Quest. However, Central Park is very large and easy to get lost in if you are unfamiliar with it. Midtown New York is a little easier because it has numbered streets and not as much open space. Urban Quests are also available for many other cities around the country The Quests are not easy. The clues can be quite hard. However, you will definitely learn a lot about the city you are in. Also, if you do not get the answer right away, you can request hints. After a certain numbers of wrong guesses, you are given the right answer.  We would still recommend getting plenty of rest before you go on an Urban Quest and wearing comfortable walking shoes when participating. Urban Quests are not really suitable for very young children or anyone who cannot walk around for long periods of time. However, they can be fun for tweens and teens as well as adults. For more about Urban Adventure Quests or to find one in a city near you go to http://www.urbanadventurequest.com//

And that's Mom's view. Tune in tomorrow for Theater Thursday.
