Me- Small is Beautiful is an exhibit of small sculptures and other miniature works of art. It is a really cool exhibit! I wonder how they can make things so small. Some of them were even as small as the tip of a pencil. The art was really pretty. I was surprised to find out that there are so many ways you can make miniature art, and that there are so many artists working in that format.

I really loved the Candy Beach exhibit. It was made out of real candy. Looking at it made me hungry! There was also an exhibit recreating famous movie scenes. That was interesting but I hadn't actually seen any of the movies represented. Overall,  Small is beautiful is a really unique and fascinating exhibit. I would highly recommend it to everyone. 

Mom - Small is Beautiful, the new miniature art exhibit in New York City features the work of numerous artists from all over the globe. Artist, Vicent Bal uses shadows to complete his works. The shadow of a cookie cutter becomes a piano, the shadow of a cup becomes a swimming pool, and more. Jasenko Dordevic creates tiny sculptures on the lead of pencils. Minimiam made up of Franco-Japanese photography duo,  Akiko Ida and Pierre Javelle, create works of art out of food and tiny figures. A watermelon becomes a tennis court, a tray of Sushi becomes a race course, and more. This is only a small sampling of the amazing artists whose brilliant work can be found in this exciting exhibit. 

Other works in the exhibit include pinhead sculptures, miniature figures, and recreated castles and other buildings. Other artists whose work is included in the exhibit include Lisa Swerling, Thomas Doyle, and Noelle Smith. With the vast array of artworks in a wide variety of different colors, styles, and forms on display in this playful and enchanting exhibit, surely everyone can find something to like.
