Guys and Dolls

Set in Damon Runyon's mythical New York City, GUYS AND DOLLS follows the unlikeliest of Manhattan pairings: a high-rolling gambler and a puritanical missionary, a showgirl dreaming of the straight-and-narrow and a crap game manager who is anything but. With its score of unforgettable songs including "Luck Be a Lady", "Sit Down, You're Rockin' the Boat", and “I’ve Never Been In Love Before”,

Fukt

FUKT seemingly begins as a solo show about why Emma changed her name. Enter Barbara and Bobbie, who steal the spotlight and demand to be included. Quarreling ensues as the women's memories and perspectives collide. Through the chaos (and zombies and a striptease), we're left with a playful, yet personal story about moving on from trauma.

One of the greatest comedic storytellers, at the top of his game. On the heels of his award-winning show The New One, Mike Birbiglia returns to Broadway with a coming-of-middle-age story about when life takes a dive – into a highly-chlorinated YMCA pool.

Take Me Out

In Take Me Out, playwright Richard Greenberg celebrates the personal and professional intricacies of America’s favorite pastime. When Darren Lemming, the star center fielder for the Empires, comes out of the closet, the reception off the field reveals a barrage of long-held unspoken prejudices dealing with sexuality and masculinity, money and power, and race and class. Facing some hostile teammates and fraught friendships, Darren is forced to contend with the challenges of being a gay person of color within the confines of a classic American institution. As the Empires struggle to rally toward a championship season, the players and their fans begin to question tradition, their loyalties, and the price of victory.

PRESENTS

PERFECT CRIME THE EXHIBIT:
HAVE YOU SEEN THIS WOMAN? HUSBAND KILLERS AMONG US

NOW THROUGH NOVEMBER 4th AT THE THEATER CENTER
(1627 BROADWAY, 4TH FLOOR)

THE ANNUAL HALLOWEEN-TIME LOBBY EXHIBIT RETURNS TO FEATURE SEVERAL INSTALLATIONS SPOTIGHTING CASES WHERE VARIOUS WOMEN (SOME OF WHOM CANNOT BE LOCATED AND COULD BE WALKING AMONGST US RIGHT NOW) WERE PUSHED PAST THEIR BREAKING POINT AND MURDERED THEIR HUSBANDS IN COLD BLOOD

THE EXHIBIT WILL FEATURE INFAMOUS WOMEN SUCH AS
NANCY CRAMPTON BROPHY, DANA K. COLBERT, DAWN RENEE WYNN,
ASHLEY BENEFIELD, EVELEYN HENDERSON, SHANTAL WAGNER AND MORE

The long running Off-Broadway whodunit PERFECT CRIME, today announced the long running Off-Broadway show’s fourth annual terrifying and fascinating Halloween season lobby exhibit PERFECT CRIME: THE EXHIBIT.  This year’s theme “Have You Seen This Woman: 2022’s Killers Among Us” will run now through November 4th within the 4th floor lobby of The Theater Center, located at 1627 Broadway in Manhattan, where Perfect Crime plays. The exhibit is free, open to the general public during box office lobby hours 10AM to 8PM, Monday – Friday.

These aren’t stories of the past. These are women all across America who very recently  have been pushed to the limit and and have been accused or convicted of killing their husbands in cold blood.  Did their men have it coming? And where are some of these accused killers right now? Look around. They could be closer than you think.

Have You Seen This Woman: 2022’s Killers Among Us” spotlights the horrific acts of various women very recently accused of killing their husbands: Nancy Crampton Brophy, DanaK. Colbert, Dawn Renee Wynn (who in September was released on bond after being accused of shooting her husband dead, but almost immediately disappeared and is still at large), Ashley Benefield, Evelyn Henderson (who told investigators her 84 year old husband died after setting himself on fire – and who was found with fly larvae in his nose), Susan A. Behny (whose husband was found in his bed with a gunshot wound to the head), SHantal Wagner (A woman accused of killing her husband, a well-known Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office deputy, has been acquitted by a jury and released from jail). The exhibit features several other truly disturbing cases that invoke goosebumps.

In addition to the exhibit, there will also be a photo area where visitors will be able to pretend kill the man they love with various weapons of choice – most deriving from the gruesome stories featured within the exhibit.  Men, there will be chalk outlines for you to lie down in and contemplate what you may be doing wrong – before it’s too late!
