The latest edition of Broadway by the Year may just have been the best one yet. This one-night look back at Broadway history covered some of Broadway's best-loved songs and dances. There was plenty of beautiful singing and lots of lively dancing. Songs included The Music That Makes Me Dance from Funny Girl and I Could Have Dance All Night from My Fair Lady. The dancing included plenty of tap as well as tributes to Andy Blankenbuhler (The Room Where It Happened), Bob Fosse (Bye Bye Blackbird), and Sergio Trujillo (Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You). The latter even included vocals from original Broadway Frank Valli, Jarrod Spector, who also sang a song with his wife, fellow performer, Kelli Barrett. All in all, it was a very enjoyable show, and a great way to close out Broadway by the Year's 21st season.

And that's our view. Tune in tomorrow for Tips for Tuesday.
