What: Fully Committed

Where: Streaming at georgestreetplayhouse.org

Who: 8 and Up

When: Through April 11, 2021

Fully Committed is the second show in George Street Playhouse's 2021 virtual season. This one's a tour de force for Maulik Pancholy who plays a gaggle of different roles in a one-man show about the restaurant industry. He plays the main character, a reservations agent at an extremely posh and popular eatery as well as numerous customers calling to making reservations, various fellow staff members, and others. He switches back and forth so quickly and so often between so many different characters that it could give you whiplash. The show is thoroughly entertaining and extremely funny. Pancholy does a terrific job with all the various roles fleshing them out not only with different accents but his manner, attitude, and even body language change with each role. It must be exhausting keeping it all straight, but he makes it seem effortless. It is definitely a performance, or rather a slew of performances in one, worth seeing so hurry and get your virtual ticket now because the show will only be available through the coming weekend.
