Books: Adventures in Cryptozoology

Today we are talking about Adventures in Cryptozoology by Richard Freeman. This book is a serious study of the search for mysterious creatures that were once thought to be mythical. The book is full of alleged eyewitness accounts of sightings of different cryptic creatures of the land and sea including the Loch Ness Monster, Yeti and more. The sightings cannot be easily dismissed because there are so many of them and they took place during so many different times periods in so many different locations around the globe. Yet without definitive proof, it is still hard for many of us to believe that these species do indeed exist. If this applies to you, reading this book is not going to change your mind. and it may become monotonous after a while.  However, you may still enjoy the final chapter of the book which deals with mythical beasts like unicorns and griffons and examines how the idea of these legendary creatures may have evolved from real-life creatures.  If you are into cryptozoology and/or you do believe in the possibility of the existence of any or all of these heretofore unproven species, you will probably love this book.

And that's our view. Tune in tomorrow for Where-To-Go Wednesday.
