Mom - Today I am talking about The Most Expensive Mistress in Jefferson County by James A. Misko. Hawkins (Hawk) Neilson put together a complex real estate deal that involves the United States Forest Service, Fish and Wildlife Service and Bureau of Land Management, The Nez Pearce Indians, 130 ranchers and farmers and more. If can just hold everything together until the deal closes  he stands to make enough money to be set for life. Although things are always happening in this book, there is much less physical action than in most of Misko's other books. At times it can feel a bit slow. If you are interested in reading about what is like to put together and pull off a huge real estate transaction, you may enjoy reading this book.
