Books: Cats Calls and Gabby The Little Dog That Had to Learn to Bark

Today we have two nonfiction books about our furry friends:

Me - Today I am recommending Cat Calls by Jeanne Adlon and Susan Logan. Jeanne Adlon has a been a professional Cat Sitter for many years, and she also writes a weekly column about cats. This book is about her experiences. It gives advice about how to care for a cat and also tells stories of her experiences with different cats. It is a very informative book. It is also a fun and interesting book. It is even worth just reading just for the cover which is full of adorable kittens. If you don't know anything about owning a cat and you want to , you woulddefinitely find this book helpful. However, even if you already have a cat or know all about cats, you probably would  still enjoy reading this book to hear about the stories of the cats Jeanne has worked with.

Mom - Today I am recommending  Gabby The Little Dog That Had to Learn to Bark by Barby Keel. This is a book about a special bond between a a woman and a dog. Barby Keel was the owner of a an animal sancuary and was engaged in the business of rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming animals. She also had several pets of her own including two other dogs. Then, a little dog named Gabby came into her life and Barby's heart went out to her. Poor little, Gabby did not know even how to how to bark or do the things a dog would normally do. She had to be taught everything. Barby not only helped Gabby, Gabby helped Barby to get through a very traumatic time in her own life as well. This sweet book will touch your heart. If you ever had a special animal in your life, you will relate to it. If you love animals. you will love this charming and delightful book.

And that's our view. Tune in tomorrow for Where-To-Go Wednesday.
