Me- The Net Will Appear was a really good show. It was about a young girl who befriends the older man who lives next door. They talk to each other from across their roofs. It was a really enjoyable show. I really liked it.There was a lot of character development throughout the show, and the characters were very interesting. The story was engaging. It was really funny. It moved along nicely and kept you interested the whole time. The acting was good. The actors related to each other well. Their characters relationship was very heartwarming. I thought I would like the show because when I heard the description it sounded good, but I liked it even more than I expected to. It was just a really nice show.
Mom - The Net Will Appear is a show about bridging the generation gap. Rory is an amiable motor mouthed 9 year old girl. Her elderly neighbor Bernard has been hardened by life and is at first unreceptive to her friendly overtures. However, over time they develop a sweet and tender relationship talking across their neighboring rooftops. Eve Johnson is a spunky and adorable delight in the role of young Rory. Richard Masur does some of the finest act of his distinguished career in the role of Bernard, the cranky curmudgeon with the heart of a teddy bear. The story is engrossing and full of both humor and sadness. The way the relationship develops between these two unlikely friends over time is particularly touching. The show runs about an hour and twenty minutes but moves along quickly and seems much shorter. In fact, the show may even feel too short as you will most likely wish you could spend even more time with these two captivating characters.
