Tips for Tuesday: Movies - School of Rock and Swing Away

We may have been given access to some of the below mentioned films for review purposes. This post may also contain affiliate links. If you click on a link and make a purchase, we will be compensated. Any and all opinions expressed here are our own.

Me - Today I am recommending School of Rock. School of  Rock is about an alleged substitute teacher and his students who form a  band. There is also a Broadway show based on this movie. The movie is funny, and entertaining. The kids are very talented. Kids, people that like music and people that like movies about bands would like it. It's a good family movie.
Mom - Today I am recommending Swing Away. Zoe is a professional golfer who is suspended for unsportsmanlike behavior so she takes a trip to visit her grandparents in Greece. There she becomes a mentor to a young golf prodigy, and she becomes involved in the fight to save the local golf course from developers. This a charming film with a good story line and interesting characters. The relationship between Zoe and her young prodigy at the center of this film is really sweet and touching. The film at 98 minutes is not overly long, and it is so enjoyable that it will feel like it goes by even quicker than that. This film is now available on Video On Demand. And that's our view. Tune in tomorrow for Where-To-Go Wednesday.
