Me - Big Fish was a good show. I liked the story. The story was about a  man named Will whose father, Edward told him a lot of stories about his life, and Will couldn't tell if the stories were true or not. I liked the fantasy parts of the story. Like there were at least two different times things were falling out of the sky. Once it was fish, and once it was flowers. The show was mysterious because you couldn't tell what was real or not just like Will. I liked the most of the characters.I didn't have any favorites though. The songs were nice. I don't remember any of them, but I wouldn't mind listening to them again. This show was different than any show I've ever seen. I liked the way the story switched back and forth between what was really happening in the present and the stories Edward was telling. The performers in the show played the music too. I never saw anything like that before either. I liked the set. It was cool the way it had two levels. Go see Big Fish if you can next weekend, or you'll miss a good show.
Mom - Big Fish was a 2003 film directed by Tim Burton which in turn was based on a book, Big Fish: A Novel of Mythic Proportions by Daniel Wallace. The story is about Will Bloom who is trying to find the truth behind the fantastic stories his father, Edward Bloom has always told him. The show has been tightened up from the movie with some characters being combined and some altogether eliminated among other things. The show is a delight full of effervescent characters including a witch, a giant and a mermaid, The songs are fun too.  They include the inspiring Be The Hero and the playful Little Lamb From Alabama  as well as few nice ballads among other songs. The talented cast in this engaging show works doubly hard because almost every actor in the cast also plays an instrument. If you want the opportunity to see this uniquely entertaining show, don't hesitate because it will only be running through April 9, 2017.
